Biography

AnnaLynne McCord was born July 16th, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia. She began acting at the age of nine in community theaters, and was home-schooled until she graduated high school at fifteen years old. That same year, she began a career in modeling with Wilhelmina Models before moving on to her movie appearance, a cameo in Transporter 2 (2005). She played Eden Lord in the fifth season of the hit show Nip/Tuck (2007), and also starred in the remake of the 90210 television series (2008).

AnnaLynne is well known for her charity work as well as her acting. She has supported the "St. Bernard Project," an organization which builds and rebuilds homes for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina, as well as "The Blind Project," an organization which seeks to rescue and empower the victims of the sex trade in South East Asia. In 2008 AnnaLynne attended the benefit "You've Gotta Have Heart" to help raise awareness of heart disease in women, and in 2009 she participated in the charity event "Babes on the Bull," which benefited the children's charity P.L.A.Y. (Providing Laughter and Amusement for Youth).
