Biography
Angelina Jolie Voight was born on June 4th, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of actor Jon Voight, winner of an Acadamy Award as well as several Golden Globes, so her career choice came as no surprise. She has won many awards for her roles in films including Girl, Interrupted and A Mighty Heart. She has also worked as a professional model and has appeared in some music videos, including one for Meat Loaf.
Inspired by what she witnessed in Cambodia while filming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Jolie is a well-known humanitarian, giving one-third of her earnings to charity. She has adopted three children: the first a boy from Cambodia, later a girl from Ethiopia, and finally a boy from Vietnam. She and longtime boyfriend Brad Pitt also have a daughter and twins.
